What makes it different
The A350 is what an airliner looks like when you start again with carbon fibre: over half its structure is composite, the wing flexes visibly in flight and curves up into a raked sharklet, and the whole aircraft is built around burning dramatically less fuel per seat than the generation it replaced.
The -1000 is the stretch, aimed squarely at the 777-300ER, and the -900ULR flies the longest scheduled routes in the world — Singapore to New York, nearly nineteen hours nonstop. Qatar Airways launched the type in 2015 and remains one of its defining operators.
The spec shown here is the A350-1000; the freighter A350F is in development.
